UNHAPPY Campers...

DID YOU KNOW:

...As predicted not everybody is a happy camper. Following the release of Americans from their home base pandemic prison, RVs became the hottest ticket in country. Everybody caught the camping bug. RVs were, and continue to be, back ordered, with some customers having to wait nearly a year to get their overpriced RV freedom. We love RVs. If you’re really ready to see what all the camping in an RV is about, from tag-along trailer to full-blown motorhomes, it’s a wonderful getaway...or was. America’s campgrounds weren’t prepared for the flood of new campers; That and rude owners who not only know nor would be thoughtful enough to RV with consideration of others. Selfish in, selfish out. RVing has its own set of social rules and most newbies could care less. They’ve done their part to help ruin camping for a lot of folks and have added to the reasons as to why a lot of nearly new RVs are now on the market.

Beside the inconsiderate campers, the considerable trouble its been to get a campground spot and the kind of effort it takes to prepare and operate an RV (or even a tent trailer) has turned a lot folks off to the experience. No doubt, it is a lot of work. For some of us it’s well worth it, but for the novice it can be overwhelming: Planning the trip, securing a spot, stocking, unpacking plus cleaning the RV...oh, and throw in possible inconsiderate camping neighbors and the For Sale signs come out pretty quick.

However, for some, the bug bites and it becomes a great way to getaway, see new sights and meet, in most cases, some great new friends. A lot of people now wish they had rented first before drinking the whole tub of Kool-Aid and spending a lot of money for something that didn’t turn out as they hoped. Good news, for those who have waited for a chance to buy an RV at more reasonable prices, the used RV market is about to explode.
