...NASCAR doesn’t just issue penalties to the cars, teams and drivers; they punish the fans and TV viewers too. We’re expect it on every one of our Sundays watching a 500 mile race: NASCAR will certainly ruin the outcome by going yellow and returning the race with just three laps to go. The result is those three laps have nothing to do with all 197 laps that went before them. Once again, NASCAR has stolen our entire day with the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas. Yet again, the race came down to the last three laps and the winner hadn’t even been a factor at the front until NASCAR resumed the race after a yellow flag with, you guessed it...just three laps to go. It’s a garbage policy the steals from both the fans in the stands and the TV viewers at home. It happens all the time and I, like a lot of former NASCAR fans, have had enough. I’m done...I just check my phone after the race and find out who won the three lap 500 mile race.
