A Popular WHEEL ESTATE Investment...

DID YOU KNOW:

...That during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, RV sales went through the roof? The demand for RVs, both used and new, so greatly exceeded supply that RV lots ran out of units to sell and prices went nuts. Americans went into a great panic with the need to get out of the house. People didn’t want to fly anymore for fear of exposure, so vacationing in an RV proved to be the perfect solution. Also impacted by the sudden boom in RVs were the RV parks who were, in most cases, not prepared to handle the newfound business surge, particularly when adding the extra responsibility of protecting those customers and reacting to new and Federal rules on the topic.

...So, where does that leave us? RV manufacturing at all levels (pop-ups, trailer, fifth wheel, van and motorhome) without a workforce to build the needed units caused the supply to fall behind almost overnight. First let us say that there’s more to RV'ing than meets the eye, so we're concerned at how many newbies just found out the hard way that it requires a strong understanding of the unit, the parks and driving to really enjoy their RV. Second major concern: Without prior experience with RVs, it’s most likely the unit they bought will not satisfy their needs, making for a lot of unhappy RV’ers.

RVs are not inexpensive to buy nor operate. They’re great when you understand and expect all that's involved, but they can make your life real difficult if you don’t. We’d say if you understand it, wait until next fall and look for a lot of low mileage used RV’s to come on the market. If (and we love the lifestyle) you decide to become a member of the RV community...do your homework. There are a lot of good books, YouTube videos and conferences to prepare you for the realities of the hobby. The more you know...the more you’ll enjoy going RV'ing.
