No POWER? Get MY TRUCK...

DID YOU KNOW:

...That Ford’s F-150 pickup has a PowerBoost option that has proven such a life saver during the Texas snow and ice front that Ford Motor Company has any dealers with those equipped pickups to please loan them out in an effort to help keep people warm?

...That the “compact” pickup truck market is making a strong comeback (or so several manufacturers seem to think)? Currently only Ford, GM, Toyota, Jeep, and Nissan are in the market, but at least six or seven more have products under development to include another model from Ford and introductions are set to occur as early as this year.

...That it is projected that new vehicle sales will by down by over 1 million units by year’s end? COVID-19 is largely responsible, but the extreme shortage of microchips is playing a bigger role every day. Worldwide, several manufacturers have had to idle their assembly plants.

...That NASCAR just ran its opening season races at Daytona International Speedway and all three of the event winners recorded their first NASCAR career wins? The usual big name drivers were shut out. It appears the times are changing in NASCAR.

...That Tesla has a huge lead in EV registrations? Tesla has four models in the top ten. Chevy, Nissan, Audi, Porsche, Hyundai, and Kia fight it out for the remaining spots.

...That you’re going to need a score card to keep track of all the new model names heading to market? There’s been a real run on the Dictionary and Thesaurus as of late as manufacturers have been on a naming binge. Remember, to establish a new model name takes time and a lot of money; hope it proves worth it.
