...That the lack of microchips has just halted the production of the best selling vehicle in America? That’s right, Ford’s F-150 assembly plant in Dearborn sits idle waiting for Japan to catch up on their microchip production. Ford isn’t the only manufacturer hit hard; GM and several others worldwide are being forced to “wait” for chips. Perhaps just one supplier is not good idea. The microchip issue has become so serious that the US Senate has requested that the White House gets involved. Seems Japan has put TV exports over worldwide auto manufacturing.
