DID YOU KNOW:
...That the new issue of Road & Track Magazine (Vol. #4) is REALLY good?! I don’t often say that about Road & Track. It's loaded with great stories about race drivers taking risks and how that turned out. First time in a long time that it makes you want to read the entire issue. The artwork is a little over the top, not all to my taste, but I respect the talent and effort. There's a totally surprising story about Corvairs in the jungle. If you don’t already get it, you might want to swing by a newsstand and pick up this issue.
...That according to RoadshowAutos, the new Chevrolet C8 Corvette was the fastest selling new car last month? Now we took a shot at this last month and to say we learned it requires a bit clarification. Turns out that the “fastest” classification refers to time spent on a dealer’s lot. Okay, perhaps not exactly what we imagined, but still a very impressive accomplishment. Bottom line is this: the new Corvette is hot. We say congratulations GM (oops, new logo: "gm"...stupid move)
...That apparently BMW has lost its mind? For reason no-one can imagine BMW has decided to alter the appearance of their famous kidney bean grill. It has been their trademark forever; well not anymore. Worse yet, and that is bad in and or itself, they’ve messed with it SO much that you’ll no longer recognize as the famous grill. COVID-19 must have hit BMW’s design department pretty hard, because you’d have to be sick to come up with awful design.
...That Amazon has begun road testing some early versions of the their pure electric delivery vans by the new electric vehicle company, Rivian? Currently, testing is only being done in San Francisco - frankly a pretty good beta for baseline testing. Suddenly you no longer need strong glasses to see the future: it’s here.
