A CEO Who Doesn't Just TALK the TALK.

DID YOU KNOW:

...That some automotive manufacturers have CEO’s that "TALK THE TALK," but Ford Motor Company’s CEO "WALKS THE WALK" as well? See, talking about new vehicles is all fine and good (especially when you're driven to the office in a limo everyday), but that’s not how Ford’s Jim Farley operates. Jim drives, and by that we mean DRIVES. Farley loves cars, especially fast cars. Jim doesn’t just talk about performance vehicles; he races them too. Farley has made a bit of a name for himself racing in semi-pro road racing events and winning. From Cobras, to Mustangs, to special designed two-seater sports racers, Farley has driven them all to victory. We're certain Ford’s legal team and insurance company hates the idea, but Farley’s passion is real and he loves life behind the wheel. To that point, Jim has been invited to run Ford’s super fast Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle on the Goodwood Hill Climb in England: a very prestigious event. Even though this version of the Mach-E is a High Performance test bed from the mad scientists at Ford, Farley has the skills to handle it.

...That the media has been going wild with excitement that during the first quarter of 2021 since both Ram and Chevy full-size pick-ups out sold the Ford’s F-150 for the first time in over 45 years? Of course both these manufacturers would love to make big news of this, but we suspect they’re smart enough to realize it was because they had leftover inventory and Ford ran out of F-150’s during the first week of April. Bitten by the microchip shortage, Ford truly got caught out as they sell twice as many pick-ups as both Ram and Chevy in a normal year. Well bad news for those guys: the chips are in and Ford is shipping trucks to dealers as you read this. Sorry guys.

...That Ford dealers find themselves knee deep in new Ford vehicle product training as the company has a lot in the upcoming pipeline? Bronco today, Maverick next month and more stuff they’re not permitted to talk about the month after that. It’s going to be a busy second half to the year.
