Top TEN Status for the MACH-E!

...That Ford’s brand new Mustang Mach-E has already broken into the top ten of electric vehicle sales? In fact, it’s already at number four by volume despite being the newest release on the list. Mach-E’s packaging, range and value pricing appear to be the reason it has launched so successfully up the list. More production will certainly play a role in helping Ford’s new EV take the top spot. Even more amazing is Ford’s announcement of “Performance” enhanced versions coming soon to include a 400-hp model called Performance-GT...And we thought EV’s were going to be boring.

...That the interesting thing about tough times for auto dealers is watching who faces up to the challenge successfully? With new car inventories in dim shape, dealers have to rethink and retrain personnel from sales consultants to upper management to approach dealer profitability from new angles, which will in turn make them better run stores. As we drive dealerships it all looks so easy: display new cars and collect money. If only if that was true. Dealerships have massive overhead and cost of operation challenges today that times like these will separate the weak from smart. It’s already been interesting.
