DID YOU KNOW:
...That the all new 2021 Chevrolet Corvette will be pacing the Indy 500 this coming May? That likely won’t shock many folks as Chevy seems to have had the Pace Car gig locked up for some time. We’ll warn you that next year the 500 will likely be paced by a GM (gm — new logo) pure-electric vehicle and don’t surprised if it’s the coming electric-powered Corvette!
...That Ford has packaged a series of accessory groups to fit the likely “lifestyle” of the Bronco Sport buyer? To us this an interesting development given that every new vehicle introduction we go to, the manufacturer always lays claim to it being a “lifestyle” car, truck or SUV. The term has become so badly over used that no one in the media takes it seriously anymore. Looks like Ford really meant it and they're providing the options to help support the claim. Cool.
...Audi’s up coming introduction of the E-Tron GT is going to rock the supercar world? Low and sexy, the E-Tron will set that stage for a number of new supercars coming market, to include the new C8 Corvette which is currently under development as a pure electric sport car.
...Jay Leno appears to hold the Lotus Evora GT in high regard? He refers to it as the a real bargain in the supercar world. We don’t have that as a direct quote from Jay, but Lotus is Facebooking the heck of him standing next to one with the “bargain” brag. Not like Leno to endorse a product, but it could have happened. We’d say it might be a great deal but can’t help but wonder how many Lotus dealers are there to go buy one from, not to mention service the thing.
...That Sylvester Stallone just bought himself a new C8 Corvette? We suspect Sly will enjoy the heck out of it, though in Miami if he gets it to be noticed...it’s not exactly a “stand out” sports car.
