DID YOU KNOW:
...Warmer weather is great news for fuel economy given that the air is thinner and your vehicle moves through it easier? Sounds odd, I know, but a vehicle is not a small object to push the air, and any reduction in resistance is good. On average, most vehicles lose between one to two gallons of fuel mileage in colder weather. Bigger vehicles, trucks and semi-rigs really take a beating. With gas prices up, way up...gaining a mileage increase is great news. Remember, lowering your engine’s RPM by just slowing down your highway speed by 5 mph will buy you more mileage.
