DID YOU KNOW:
...That Ford's Mustang Mach-E just won Consumer Reports "Best Electric Vehicle of the Year?” As further proof that life in the auto world is changing rapidly, we are starting to see industry awards being given to EVs. It's worth paying attention to as the selection gets larger every month. Range, power and charging times all continue to improve.
...That auto dealers still struggle to keep their lots full? The chip shortage, like the Coronavirus, has had a huge impact on the American economy, not to mention the lives lost. For them, this is the "new normal” as they have to battle everyday to keep their employees retained and the dealerships open.
...That customers are beginning to live with “vehicle ordering?” With dealer selection so low, custom ordering is often the only way to ensure you get the vehicle you want. The order banks are all rapidly filling up, and some manufacturers are starting to plan on keeping it this way. American consumers are used to dealer lots full of selection. For the last two years, that hasn’t been the case and the new habit of ordering is starting to take root. If this comes to pass, we’re going to miss walking down rows of new vehicles of every model, type and color.
