DID YOU KNOW:
...That the coming of electric vehicles is being taken so seriously the International auto racing body, FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile), has already developed new rules for the existence of a class just for these new cars? At the core of the concept, manufacturers can use this class to develop street car production of better electric motors, controllers, batteries and faster charging systems. These closed cockpit vehicles will compete along side of current internal combustion powered race cars where they are likely to have performance advantage but will lose time while recharging. The races are currently six, twelve and twenty four hours long, so it should prove to be an interesting match up. Both two-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations will be legal in the class called “Electric GT Category” by classification. This serves as greater proof that everyone knows that electric vehicles are the future.
...FORMULA 1 is coming to Miami? The site for the second F1 race in America was selected based on its ability to handle large crowds and its local entertainment. Airports, hotels, and restaurants were all considered important. So 2022 will see an F1 field take the green in Florida.
