DID YOU KNOW:
...That (and this amazing) Toyota hasn't had any issues getting the microchips that the shortage of has forced the closure of 14 auto plants worldwide? With thousands of plant workers laid off, vehicles stuck at assembly plant storage lots, and dealers running out of inventory, somehow Toyota manages to get chips which are manufactured by a company in Japan.
...That Harley-Davidson has just announced a “Certified Pre-Owned” program to be introduced at their stores? You know, the same kinds car and truck dealers have been doing for years. What finally snapped HD out of its coma was the total lack of younger buyers. This was compounded by HD killing the production of their lower priced motorcycles, choosing instead to manufacture bikes only rich people could afford. HD finally woke up...I only hope it’s not too late.
...That Ford’s F-150 has been the best selling truck for 44 years and owns 33% of the truck market? There was a day when trucks were anything but luxurious; in fact you used to wash out their interiors with a garden hose! Not anymore. Back then, an AM radio was considered a fancy option. The leap in both comfort and function to today’s trucks looks like a moonwalk in comparison.
...That a recent study listed the worst states (thank you Donut Media) to buy a new vehicle in? No surprise, but sadly California, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Hawaii topped the list. I’ve purchased a car in several of these states and frankly had no issues, but to be fair when you have a radio show people are often less inclined to pull any stunts. I will tell you this; shipping a car from Hawaii to California proved to be a nightmare. They beat up your car and you are totally powerless to punish them for it. Never again.
