Vehicles FLYING in the AIR and OFF Dealer Lots.

DID YOU KNOW:

...That General Motors stole all of Saturn’s new model-developed money to prop up Pontiac and Oldsmobile after killing Saturn itself? Money well spent, NOT. Saturn had/has the most loyal owner base of any model line of automobiles you’ve ever met and for good reason; they trusted the sales process, they loved the cars, despite them being very simple and straight-forward, and they had nearly bulletproof reliability. They’ve been out of production for over fifteen years but you still see more Saturns on the road than Pontiacs or Oldsmobiles, two divisions that died anyway. Saturn's “plastic” (SMC) body panels still shine, even after all these years in the hot Nevada sun.

...That Flying Cars have gone to a whole new level? It seems the perspective is “rich people” are going to be the first buyers and to that end a number of “high end” exotic builders have flying/driving prototypes. However, despite being expensive and looking pretty odd, they make neither a good car nor a decent airplane. Slow: really slow in both modes is the word-of-the-day. Because they are cars most the time, they have to have retractable wings which presents an interesting (if not ugly) challenge. So far no flying Pintos or Smarts have been presented, just super elaborate designs from Europe. Before you rush to Google to order one, be sure you have a pilot’s license because that’s going to be a requirement before you start driving/flying.

...That it’s officially “muffler bearing” and “blinker fluid” month? Be sure you stop by your local dealer and have them checked out. All kidding aside, it's summer time and we highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced or at least inspected so you're prepared for the seasonal heat.

...That if you’re in the market for a new truck, car or SUV you’d best move fast? Either that, or expect to wait until at least late winter as dealer inventories are truly low. The microchip problem is real and wide-spread. Dealer lots looking more like parking lots already! The upside to buying now is your trade has NEVER been worth more. The new vehicle shortage has driven used car prices through the roof: cash in.
