TO SHELBY...OR NOT TO SHELBY?

The great news for Mustang fans is there is one model that stands out as the High Bar, the stuff of dreams: SHELBY. The name brings goosebumps to some people's arms and for good reason.  The Mustang’s racing history is one of legend and SHELBY was the man and the team behind it. One can customize their Mustang, but nothing turns heads quicker or for longer than a passing SHELBY. They shake the ground and water the eyes of Mustang fans worldwide. Not just fast, not just stunning to look at, but highly developed tools of performance. They haul ass, they corner like a demon and stop as if glued to the earth. Their legend has been paid for by technicians, engineers and racing drivers of amazing skill.  Race wins and championships? Too many to count.

Mustang, an all-American product took on the world’s best: Porsche, Jaguar, Corvette, Camaro and Challenger, and beat them time and time again. Today the Mustang is a world-class automobile and the SHELBY is the refinement of that platform.  You can ride in a lot of cars, but you drive a SHELBY; they’re built that way. These are not cars for people with a passing interest in automobiles. SHELBYs are for drivers with passion.  Their owners belong to International SHELBY clubs, attend SHELBY exclusive events, and track day their cars on SHELBY club track days. SHELBY owners travel to Las Vegas to tour the factory of their car’s conversion from a simple Mustang to a car of greatness.  They wear SHELBY t-shirts, jackets, hats and driving shoes from their car’s birthplace. If you own a SHELBY, you join the family; you become someone special.  If all that sounds to amazing to be true, come to a SHELBY convention, or a track day, or tour the The Shelby American factory in Las Vegas and you’ll quickly realize that this truly is a private club reserved for people who understand a refined all-out performance car with history and pride. The kind of car people name their firstborns after.
