Recapping this Year's SHELBY BASH!

DID YOU KNOW:

...That in a certain part of Los Angeles, you can find a “World Famous” beef dip sandwich? They are AMAZING, and once you're finished, you can drive just down the street and pay $6.00 for regular gas. However, be prepared to wait in line because the station is packed; we have no idea why.

...That there was a time when a lot of consumers resisted switching from rear-wheel-drive to the manufacturing trend for front-wheel-drive? Today people don’t even notice. There was a time when very few people believed that four-cylinder powertrains could "cut the mustard" in the real world. Today four cylinder engines rule the world, with some making over 300-horsepower and 40-miles to the gallon. Currently there’s some resistance to buying an electric powered vehicle; drivability isn’t the issue. Today’s EVs are fun and fast, but their range is what has a lot of people concerned. Most Americans drive less than 30 miles to work and back. Given that most EVs have at least 250 mile range (with some topping 400 miles today), we predict it won’t be long before consumers will adjust to owning an EV and we’ll be moving on to the big issue: flying cars...Now that’s scary.

...That Shelby American recently held their annual SHELBY BASH in Las Vegas, and after last year’s COVID-19 cancelled events, the turn out this year was huge? It was four days of fun in the sun with a monster caravan of Shelby models running down the Strip, two full track days at Spring Mountain, three evening programs, poker runs, and a great car show to close the event on. Besides lots of Shelby Mustangs, Daytona Coupes and a great turnout of Ford GTs were present as well. You don’t have to own a Shelby to attend, though it sure adds to the fun. Check out their website for events and details for next year’s Bash.
