Fast Developments and Bad News for RV'ers

Writer: Rick TitusRick Titus

DID YOU KNOW:

...That when you pull back the curtain on all these current consumer buzzwords about vehicle development, there are some amazing things going? As fast as the vehicles themselves are developing, so too are the technical support frameworks to design and manufacture them. Under the heading of The Snapdragon Digital Chassis team of engineers, advanced platforms are being developed to fulfill demand for the vehicles of the future. It’s the stuff of dreamers made real. To be relevant, this tech needs to be ever-advancing years out in front of tomorrow’s vehicles. It's so fast leaning and evolving it’s almost scary.

...That California, as of January 1st, has made it illegal for tax-paying RV'ers to use any type of gas-powered portable or onboard power generation? As hard as that is to believe, California continues to punish the general public at every given opportunity. Portable generators, including those mounted in most trailers and motorhomes are now outlawed. So if you planned an RV vacation in the Golden State...forget about it. Once again, the brain trust that runs California has proven not only to be foolish, but downright mean as well. This means you can only “boondock” there which limits you to only your stored power source. Like changing the name of a famous pancake mix, this will fetch no positive result. Proves yet again that the taxpayer means nothing to the folks in charge.
