Another LEGEND Lost...

DID YOU KNOW:

...That racing legend Bobby Unser passed away 5/3/2021? Bobby, one of the Unser racing dynasty and multiple Indy 500 winner leaves behind his famous brother Al, his nephew Al Jr. and his son Robby, a multi-Pikes Peak winner. The legends of motorsports are slowly slipping away; they were all brave and gave much to the sport.

...That Ford’s new electric cross-over was just awarded the IIHS best “Best Safety Pick” after extensive crash testing? Ford has every reason to be proud because electric vehicles have had trouble scoring well in crash studies. Ford is equally proud of the young man they just promoted to handle the marketing and consumer launch of the all Mach-E electric crossover. Andrew Frick, a second generation Ford management employee, is well know for his “attention to detail,” the kind of skill set required to bring these vehicles to market.

...That the U.S. Government just indicted two Stellantis managers for emissions fraud? The two Italian nationals are charged with defrauding fuel efficiency and emissions numbers for more than 100,000 diesel vehicles sold in the U.S. by Fiat Chrysler. It is suspected that the orange prison suits will not be considered good fashion.

...That both Ford Motor Company and General Motors have developed “work at home” employee guidelines? Seems COVID-19 is going to have lasting effects on nearly everything in American life.

...That some continue to doubt that full electric vehicles are coming? The U.S. plans to spend $15 billion to install 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations in convenient locations.
