A BUSY Week Ahead...

DID YOU KNOW:

...That EV haters about to have a rough weekend? If they’re watching the Super Bowl, it seems a huge percentage of the car ads will be promoting companies' newest EV products. We’re only laughing because the cult of "head-in-the-sand" types are soon going to be faced with the reality that, love it or hate it, the government is force EVs. Cry, complain, and shout all you want...EVs are here. We’re not taking sides, but reality is reality...

...That we've got a busy week starting on the 14th? Yes, it starts with the Sweetheart thing, but by Tuesday, Ford Country will be visiting selected vendors to express a little love by serving fresh hot popcorn as well. Wednesday has me leaving at 5:00 AM along with Shelby American VP and Head of Vehicle Development Vince LaViolette and International Automotive Design Winner Pete Brock to Willow Springs International Raceway in California to track test several recently completed continuation 1965 Shelby racing Mustang GT350Rs. At $400,000 each, we’re honored to be a part of the driving team. A couple of the new owners will be there and given some “Hot Laps” to show them what their new toy can do.

...That several employees will be packing school lunches for one of our favorite charities Serving Our Kids Foundation from right here in Henderson? We’re also in throes of preparing for the first-annual Ford Country 500, our salute to the Indy 500. With a professional pinewood racing track set up in the showroom room, free Hot Wheels racers for the kids, and both Expert and Challenger racers competing for prizes, it all happens May 28th at Ford Country starting at 9:00 AM. The races become so intense and competitive that they video the finish to determine the winner in some cases.

...That this coming Friday, Automotive Did You Know will be filming another product intro and Driving Impression of the Mustang Mach 1? Our last review of this vehicle got us lots of feedback from the couch crowd because we liked this model a great deal. Ahh, but the GT500 and the King of The Road Shelby received lots of support from watchers. Watch for our review and you’ll see why we hold this version in such high regard.
